Giving up?

Evening everyone.

I have been thinking this over, and it's a long time coming, but a strong part of me wants to stop this nonsense. Yes, captioning. What is the point anyway? Anything I do with the captions is only appreciated by a select few. I try to make changes, making it easier for even the slightest input from those that follow, and all I get is junk. Comments are a joke now, as are any on this post. Am I alone on thinking this is a wasted effort? I can think of two that truly enjoy reading my posts and captions, Sedra and Sp2000. Others just come and go, read what I create and move on. Lets face it, I'm to the point that I want to give this up. I enjoyed creating, but I need input to create further. Have I changed my style? Do you like what I've done? Should I keep going on and keep creating???

What kills me more than anything is that I make the changes and allow you to simply click a button to let me know how I'm doing. 50+ followers and all I get is 2 "Good" ratings. I'm not looking for some immense number of followers, as I've kept this very close and small for a year now, or some goal on page views. I just want to know that what I do is appreciated, or not for that matter. Any idea of how I do, whether it's good or bad, is appreciated because it will allow me to make changes accordingly.

I started out creating for myself. The idea of creating something new for others to see was just an added perk. But now I yearn for some input.... need input!

I'll create one more caption series. I'm going to put all I've got into it. Once it's posted though, I'm done. Comments and input will not change my mind. I've reached the end and I will not go any further.
